I love how Cas cannot stand to have Dean upset with him, so he goes to the store, wrecks a bunch of shit, and then menacingly demands pie just to make Dean like him again. Not only that, Cas knew Dean’s favorite things.

- He disappointed Dean again
- He needed to show him he was sorry
- He had to do something to make amends
- He went shopping
- With his crumply moneys
- And bought Dean jerky
- And beer
- And Dean’s favorite gross porn
- And other stuff
- And became incredibly agitated when he couldn’t get Dean pie
- Because Dean loves pie
- Pie is his favorite
- And Cas needs to get him pIE
- I’M DYING OVER THE PIE THING
- AND YOU KNOW WHAT DEAN’S PROBABLY NOT GOING TO KNOW ANY OF THIS

I’m tired of the ” let’s not tell Dean anything and go off on my own… ”
It’s been done. 80% of this has been done. Dean wanting nothing more than to get Cas back, leaving the warding off, telling him he needs him. Gets him back, gets angry and pushes him away. All character growth lost.
Cas wants his attention, is willing to go above and beyond (well, I dunno, pie and porn aren’t THAT bad) and ends up getting manipulated YET FUCKING AGAIN. How often does this happen? How do you not learn? How can you be so awesome and a warrior and willing to grow outside your angel bubble after being a wave of celestial intent and a bajillion years old and not learn?
Oh and let’s leave the super powerful demon your grandfather died to kill back together and leave her alone to answer a call from the king of hell. That’s 8 years of hunting and wisdom right there.
Also how cool that they found exactly what they needed when they needed it in the archives of the men of letters that didn’t exist at all until 10 eps ago!Amazing.
So basically we had no character development at all, murdered that season 1 chick for dramatic tension, and Cas and Dean will fight to bring in more viewers hoping desperately for relationship (any kind, platonic, romantic, whatever) relief, at the risk of devaluing all the caring and compassion they had building for 10 eps and what feels like 4 hiatuses, each ending with Cas coming back with no resolution.
